Dr. Clancy became part of the City of Hope family in 2009 after six years training in general and plastic surgery at the University of Southern California.  She also completed post-graduate training in microsurgery at the University of Gent in Belgium prior to joining City of Hope.

Dr. Clancy is passionate about helping patients get back to resuming normal life activities after cancer surgery with reconstruction.  She is deeply involved in seeking to increase the percentage of breast cancer patients who opt for reconstructive surgery after mastectomy. She works closely with medical and surgical oncologists to determine the best reconstructive procedure for each individual patient.

Dr. Clancy graduated with honors from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School.
