Before becoming a physician, Ari Katerelos, M.D. was a nurse and a soldier in the U.S. Army. He brings that varied experience to his work as a radiation oncologist. His goal is to provide “compassionate and personalized treatments that will give (patients) the best possible chance to beat their disease."

After nearly a decade of nursing in both military and civilian life, Dr. Katerelos earned his medical degree at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed his internship at UCLA and a residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

With experience in leading-edge radiation treatments and equipment, Dr. Katerelos specializes in head and neck cancer and skin cancers and has also treated gynecologic cancer, breast cancer, and stomach cancer, as well as lung, brain and blood cancers.
