“We want to make a difference not only today....but also for tomorrow, for future generations.”
For nearly 20 years, Jeffrey Y.C. Wong, M.D., has guided our Radiation Oncology department through unprecedented growth. The program now boasts the latest technologies, including image-guided intensity-modulated radiation therapy, image-guided radiation therapy, TomoTherapy, CT simulation, functional tumor imaging, radioimmunotherapy, and advanced brachytherapy technologies.
Dr. Wong is recognized for his efforts in targeted therapy using image-guided Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), recently applying this approach to bone marrow transplantation. He is also investigating the use of MRI to guide an ultrasound device to target and eradicate prostate cancer cells.
