Northern Trust Open drives awareness and funds for City of Hope
February 10, 2015 | by Kelly Mayfield
The Northern Trust Open tees off in Los Angeles on Feb. 19, giving Southland golf fans the opportunity to experience a world-class field at the iconic Riviera Country Club. City of Hope, the official charity of the Northern Trust Open through 2025, benefits from the considerable charitable dollars generated from the tournament proceeds, as well as extensive media exposure.
City of Hope will be featured adjacent to the 14th tee during the four-day tournament. Come by, tell us what gives you hope and become eligible to win a golf gift set. Visit the giant Citizens of Hope cube where attendees can share their inspirations, then post the images on Instagram using #citizenofhope and #ntopen2015 — the most 'likes' wins, chosen the Monday following the tournament.
There are two ways you can support City of Hope through participation in the tournament. Make sure you purchase your Northern Trust Open tickets at TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ and 100 percent of net proceeds will go directly to City of Hope. And join Staples, presenting sponsor of Birdies for Hope, in the fight against cancer by guessing how many birdies will recorded in this year's tournament. Every guess earns an entry for the grand prize, a visit to The Kingdom and a TaylorMade fitting experience, and helps raise $250,000 for research and treatment programs at City of Hope.
Last year, Bubba Watson took the trophy in an exciting weekend finish. Who will dominate in 2015?
