Foundation Giving

The generosity of City of Hope’s foundation partners has played an important role in helping the institution transform healthcare throughout Southern California, nationally and internationally.  Our collaboration with our foundation partners has resulted in = lifesaving patient care, important advances in groundbreaking research, exceptional training for nurses, physicians and scientists, and community outreach to help vulnerable populations.

The Office of Foundation Relations partners with private and corporate foundations to further the philanthropic goals of City of Hope and meet the special needs of each donor.  City of Hope welcomes unrestricted gifts, designated grants and endowment gifts.

Why partner with City of Hope?

Local, National, Global Impact
City of Hope programs range from local efforts targeting the needs of people in our immediate community to international programs changing health worldwide.  Our research discoveries have saved countless lives, and new therapies are constantly being developed that pioneer new approaches to battling cancer and other deadly diseases.

City of Hope is ranked among the top cancer centers in the country by U.S. News & World Report.  We're consistently given a 4 star rating — the highest possible — from Charity Navigator.  More than 80 cents of each dollar raised goes directly into support of City of Hope’s clinical, research and educational programs.

With over 100 years of experience in serving the community and a long history of philanthropic support, City of Hope is a trusted partner for foundations and other donors seeking to invest in a renowned, innovative and proven institution.
