City of Hope patients, most of whom are fighting cancer, rely on donations of 37,000 units of platelets each year for their survival. To address this need City of Hope created the Michael Amini Transfusion Medicine Center. A recognized leader in apheresis, donor matching and marrow transplants – this facility helps our patients and saves lives every day.

Our Chicago Building Hope Board had the opportunity to tour this amazing facility. This experience inspired them to direct their philanthropic efforts toward the Blood Donor Center. We invite you to join them in their support. Below you will see how you can get involved:
