LARE's Building Hope group is a strategic initiative for emerging leaders in the Los Angeles real estate community.
Founded in 2011, the mission of City of Hope’s Building Hope initiative, is to raise funding and awareness for City of Hope by connecting with Los Angeles real estate professionals under 40 years of age. In order to accomplish this mission, Building Hope will plan and execute fund-and awareness-raising activities, including but not limited to, events, online initiatives and microphilanthropy, compliant with the policies and resources, and under the auspices of City of Hope.
Benefits of joining Building Hope are networking with fellow real estate professionals, including the elite members of the LARE Council, as well as helping to support a state-of-the-art medical facility that saves lives.
Our Current Effort
The Building Hope 2018 campaign aims to raise $100,000 to support City of Hope's Leo Wang, M.D., Ph.D., an assistant professor in the Departments of Immuno-Oncology and Pediatrics, who is currently enrolling patients in a clinical trial using CAR-T cells in the fight against pediatric brain cancer, giving kids a second chance.
