Ways to Get Involved

PLEASE JOIN CITY OF HOPE AND DEBORAH CARVER’S HOPE IS IN YOUR HANDS CAMPAIGN TO RAISE $1.5 MILLION.

City of Hope is an independent research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. Designated as one of only 48 comprehensive cancer centers, the highest recognition bestowed by the National Cancer Institute, City of Hope is also a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, with research and treatment protocols that advance care throughout the world.

THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO SUPPORT CITY OF HOPE AND DEBORAH.

All fundraising events must complete the Application and return it to City of Hope. Once received, we will provide you with a confirmation letter recognizing your event as an official National Professional Salon Industry fundraising effort, as well as a digital Fundraising Toolkit that includes templates for posters, flyers, mirror clings, social media graphics and more.
  • Cut-a-thon, color-a-thon, auction, etc. During a designated period, donate $ per service performed.
  • Collect donations as clients pay for their products and services. Make sure you have a process for collecting and tracking the money.
  • Create your own online fundraising page. This is an easy addition for any event and allows those who can’t attend to show their support. Visit: https://ourhope.cityofhope.org/SalonIndustryGroup
  • Decide what $ or % of purchase price per product will be designated as a donation to City of Hope. Do you have a best-selling product? Are you launching a new line? Are you looking to increase sales of a certain item? Please note, all materials must include the exact amount of $ or % of purchase price that will be donated to City of Hope and should not include words like profit or proceeds.

Questions? Ideas? We’d love to work with you to create programs that raise money for City of Hope and meet your business goals.
