Local Chapters

Since its inception in 1913, City of Hope chapters in cities across the nation have led the charge for community fundraising, galvanizing local support for City of Hope, and helping to raise millions of dollars for its lifesaving work. The continuing legacy of San Diego’s dedicated chapter members has opened new doors of hope in research, treatment, and education for people in San Diego, and around the world.

Throughout the year, chapters raise funds through events such as fundraising galas, day trips, luncheons, fashion shows, memorial and tribute card programs, and more. Additionally, our chapter members have formed teams for various local City of Hope events, as well as volunteered their time to assist us in our office.

Current chapters located in the San Diego area consist of:

  • Gussie K. Singer Chapter #0004
    Founded: 1921
  • Rancho Bernardo Chapter #1287
    Founded: 1981
  • Ocean Hills/North County Chapter #1527

  • San Diego Cares Chapter #1607
