Volunteer Requirements

Adult Volunteer Requirements

  • Over the age of 18
  • Minimum 6-month commitment or 100 hours (one four-hour shift per week)
  • Must be able to complete the following onboarding steps within a set timeline:
    • Virtual Interview
    • Verify Identity by Completing a background check
    • Clear Employee Health Services (Two-step TB skin test and verification of State/Federal & City of Hope Required Immunizations)
    • Complete Orientation Modules
    • Attend In-Person - Volunteer Tour & Badging
    • Able to perform assignment responsibilities
    • Agree to all Infection Prevention Polices, Procedures, and other safety guidelines

High School Requirements

  • Must be between the ages of 15 - 17 upon application
