Kristin Bertell is the chief philanthropy officer at City of Hope, a Charity Navigator four-star-rated organization, providing strategic leadership for all of its philanthropic efforts and executing a diverse portfolio of fundraising programs and activities.

John D. Carpten, Ph.D., is uniquely positioned to help further City of Hope’s critical goal of expanding access to quality cancer care leading-edge research and care for more patients, families and communities.

Ken Chaplin serves as system chief marketing officer for City of Hope, providing overall strategic leadership for City of Hope’s integrated marketing efforts. Chaplin joined City of Hope as part of its acquisition of Cancer Treatment Centers of America, which he previously served as CMO.

David W. Craig, Ph.D., is the founding chair of the Department of Integrative Translational Sciences at City of Hope and incoming deputy director of Translational Sciences at the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope.

Jo Ann Escasa-Haigh, system chief business officer, oversees system strategy, mergers and acquisitions, finance and managed care.

Debra Fields, executive vice president and chief transformation officer, leads the teams focused on accelerating City of Hope’s impact through aligned organizational governance and design, progressive talent strategy, change navigation and integration methodology, and marketing and communications.

Pete Govorchin, M.B.A., is president of City of Hope Chicago. In his role, Govorchin leads all hospital operations at City of Hope Chicago with a focus on driving service-line growth through operational and clinical excellence.

David Horne, Ph.D., vice provost and deputy director of Beckman Institute of the City of Hope and dean of Faculty Affairs, helps shape the scientific and educational vision of City of Hope with his research expertise in Medicinal Chemistry, Drug Development and Molecular Medicine.

Vince Jensen, M.B.A., is the system chief executive of City of Hope's Medical Foundation and Physician Services, responsible for physician organization and overseeing the academic practice plan and other physician services across the system.

Harlan Levine, M.D., is president of health innovation and policy. He also serves as the chair of the board of AccessHope™, a spinout company from City of Hope that is focused on serving the employer market and making leading-edge cancer care available to all regardless of geographical location.

Kevin Manemann is executive vice president and chief integration officer of Clinical Enterprise for City of Hope.

Cristin O’Callahan is City of Hope’s general counsel and corporate secretary, overseeing the departments responsible for legal matters, risk mitigation and ethics and compliance as well as serving as corporate secretary.

Steven T. Rosen, M.D., is a professor in the Department of Hematology & Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation's Division of Lymphoma and vice president and director emeritus of City of Hope's Comprehensive Cancer Center and Beckman Research Institute.

Angela L. Talton leads the development of a new vision and strategy to advance diversity, equity and inclusion at City of Hope, continuing its holistic and integrated focus to build a diverse and inclusive culture at all levels of the enterprise.

Joline Treanor is system chief human resources officer at City of Hope, where she is focused on creating an engaging workplace while ensuring that City of Hope has key strategies in place to accelerate a culture of performance excellence and continuous improvement.

Jeffrey M. Trent, Ph.D., is the president and research director of Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), which joined forces with City of Hope to accelerate the speed at which scientists and medical staff convert research discoveries into cures for patients.

Vijay Trisal, M.D., the Dr. Norman & Melinda Payson Professor in Medicine, is the system chief clinical officer responsible for setting the vision and direction for systemwide quality and patient safety and developing guidelines for clinical pathways and protocols.

Kevin Tulipana, D.O., M.S., a hospitalist and president of City of Hope Phoenix, is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. An ordained deacon with the Catholic church, Dr. Tulipana is finely tuned to both the physical and spiritual needs of his patients.

Marcel Van den Brink, M.D., Ph.D., is the president of City of Hope's main campus and National Medical Center in Los Angeles, as well as the chief physician executive and the Deana and Steve Campbell Chief Physician Executive Distinguished Chair.

Annette M. Walker, president of City of Hope, Orange County, drives the development and growth of a 21st-century comprehensive cancer campus in Irvine and a network of care that will provide Orange County residents unprecedented access to leading-edge medicine.

Jonathan Watkins, M.P.A., joined City of Hope in October 2019. In his role as president of City of Hope Atlanta, Watkins provides strategic guidance for City of Hope Atlanta while working closely with leadership across City of Hope.
