Henry Krebs, M.D., an interventional and diagnostic radiologist at City of Hope® Cancer Center Atlanta, has more than 35 years’ experience harnessing the potential of interventional radiology techniques to offer patients advanced treatment options with fewer side effects. An interventional radiologist since 1986, he joined City of Hope in 2012.
Dr. Krebs has vast expertise in diagnosing and treating cancer using innovative, minimally invasive procedures, including cryotherapy, chemo- and radioembolization, and microwave tumor ablation. In his clinical work, he also specializes in liver-directed therapy and diagnostic approaches to breast cancer.
After earning his medical degree at Texas A&M University, Dr. Krebs completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio, where he also served as chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in angiography and interventional radiology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Dr. Krebs is a member of multiple associations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging.
