John J. Park, M.D., Ph.D.
John J. Park, M.D., Ph.D., is the Chief of the Division of Interventional Radiology, which was established at City of Hope in 2011. Over the years he has built the Division into a nationally-recognized program centered around a culture of high-quality patient care, clinical excellence and forward-minded research.
As a Board Certified and Fellowship Trained Interventional Radiologist, Dr. Park is interested in the treatment of diseases using minimally-invasive, image-guided techniques. This includes the development of clinical practices and the implementation of novel treatment paradigms for both vascular and oncologic diseases. As a physician-scientist, Dr. Park is also interested in understanding disease states. He is actively focused on conducting translation research that will ultimately help in better understanding and treating cancer and related conditions through the development of new technologies and targeted therapies.
