City of Hope’s National Home Furnishings Industry will honor Larry Harrow and Jason Harrow of Hollywood Bed Frame
with its 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award. City of Hope is a leading research, treatment and education center for cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.
The Harrows will receive their awards at the West Coast Golf & Tennis Tournament on June 10, 2013 at the Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet Club in Coto de Caza, CA. As City of Hope celebrates 100 years of care and discovery, this special day for the National Home Furnishings Industry and Hollywood Bed Frame will be especially significant. Hollywood Bed Frame Company was founded 80 years ago by Irving and Hannah Harrow. Their son, Larry, has engineered the company’s product line and has been awarded 16 U.S. patents. He is active in many philanthropic endeavors, as is his son, Jason. During Jason’s tenure as President, Hollywood Bed Frame’s sales have tripled, as they have diversified and expanded their customer base from a regional to an international business. The company is a major supplier to key retailers, the hospitality industry and the U.S. Armed Forces.

Larry Harrow has served on the Boards of the California Furniture Manufacturers Association, American Diabetes Association, DARE America, Volunteers of America and the American Youth Soccer Organization. Jason has followed in his father’s philanthropic footsteps with Board positions at CFMA, the Guardians and the German Shepherd Rescue.
