Urology and Urologic Oncology

City of Hope’s highly skilled urologists treat bladder, prostate and kidney cancers as well as a wide spectrum of diseases of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system.

Urology and Urologic Oncology — Urodynamic studies

We offer a series of tests to assess the function of the bladder and urethra. Urodynamic tests are used to find the cause of symptoms such as incontinence, frequent urination and overactive bladder.

Urology and Urologic Oncology — Benign

We specialize in women's and men’s health urology and most general urology issues: male benign urology for infertility, enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction, male incontinence, Peyronie's disease, ureteral strictures and urethral strictures, trauma urology and female benign urology for incontinence (stress urinary incontinence and urge urinary incontinence).

Urology and Urologic Oncology - Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery

We specialize in pelvic medicine, trauma and reconstructive urology, including female pelvic reconstruction.

Surgery — Robotic-assisted Surgery

City of Hope is a leader in the use of the most advanced robotic-assisted surgical techniques. Unlike traditional surgery, which requires a large-incision, minimally invasive robotic techniques offer greater precision, flexibility and control. Patients have less pain and fewer complications, which means a faster recovery and better quality of life.

Clinical Trials

Patients have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials involving the newest drugs and treatments before they are widely available.

We offer consultations for all cancers, as well as for individuals at high risk of developing cancer.
