We regularly treat aggressive and late-stage cancer, including complicated cases other institutions may have deemed untreatable. Edward S. Kim, M.D, M.B.A., fellow of the American College of Physicians and fellow of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, is physician-in-chief of City of Hope Orange County and the vice physician-in-chief of City of Hope National Medical Center. Dr. Kim joins City of Hope in fulfilling its promise of enhanced local access to cancer breakthroughs by leading its esteemed team of clinicians in Orange County.

Medical Oncologist

Medical oncologist Jyoti Malhotra, M.D., M.P.H., centers her philosophy of care on learning as much as possible about each patient—what is important to them, the challenges they face, and the therapeutic approach they want to take—as well as the details of their disease. She provides care to patients with lung cancer and thoracic tumors as well as to patients with refractory solid tumors as part of phase I/Early Therapeutics program.
