Newport Beach Cancer Center: Cancer Care for Orange County

City of Hope is redefining the delivery of advanced cancer care. Historically, patients needed to travel significant distances to receive cancer treatment from the nation’s top cancer centers. Now, we are making this level of care accessible to where people live and work. We launched a Newport Beach location in 2020, and our cancer campus of the future will open its doors in Irvine in 2022.

Says City of Hope Orange County president Annette Walker, “We are responding to the call of our patients, families, and supporters to bring City of Hope’s innovative discoveries and specialized therapies closer to their homes. Our respectful approach to caregiving, wealth of experience in diagnosis and treatment, high-impact biomedical research enterprise, and ability to deliver the most advanced therapies have made City of Hope a frequent choice for patients with the most complex needs. Orange County patients will also benefit from City of Hope’s designation by the National Cancer Institute as one of just 49 comprehensive cancer centers in the country.”

What You Will Find in Newport Beach
Our first Orange County clinical location, the Newport Beach clinical facility, provides innovative programs for early detection, prevention, and treatment. We also offer the region a team of highly specialized cancer experts, many of whom are researchers focused on a singular goal –to treat and one day cure cancer. Their level of expertise is often unique to the diverse Orange County community.

Top Doctors
We are building a growing team of highly specialized physicians who are bringing breakthrough cancer research, personalized therapies, and nationally recognized compassionate care to the local area.

Most of our physicians are specialists or sub-specialists in a specific type of cancer. This high degree of focus has made them top experts in their particular field of cancer.
