Hope is at work in Orange County. For the second year in a row, City of Hope Orange County has been named a Best Place to Work by Orange County Business Journal. Our team of physicians and staff placed us among the top employers in the region.
One reason we’re considered a great place to work is that, simply put, working here matters. City of Hope Orange County is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people with cancer. We offer a fulfilling and personally meaningful work experience in a patient-focused, compassionate and caring environment. Our mission is to deliver the cures of tomorrow to the people who need them today.
We’re guided by values that include excellence, collaboration, integrity, service with a sense of urgency and intellectual curiosity. We welcome a diverse workforce, knowing that we deliver better and more equitable care when we fully understand and can respond to all our patients’ needs. And we strive to create an inclusive workplace environment that engages all of our employees and provides them with opportunities to develop and grow, both personally and professionally.
City of Hope Orange County is also a great place for employees to thrive. Our benefit programs provide a wide range of health coverages and wellness resources, comprehensive health and welfare insurance plans, a robust wellness plan, financial and retirement plan options and more.
City of Hope has called Orange County home since 2020. We’re committed to transforming the future of health across the region by turning science into practical benefit, and that commitment is growing. City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, a department of City of Hope National Medical Center, a general acute care hospital, is opening this summer in Irvine. It provides access to City of Hope’s more than 400 physicians and 1,000 researchers and scientists focused solely on cancer. The cancer center will be seamlessly connected to Orange County’s only specialty cancer hospital, which will open in 2025. City of Hope’s Orange County cancer care network currently includes four regional clinics — two in Newport Beach, one in Huntington Beach and one in Irvine. The cancer center, the regional clinics and the planned hospital will create Orange County’s largest network dedicated exclusively to cancer treatment and cures.
We are responding to the needs of the Orange County community, and you can join us to make a difference. Driven by science, motivated by compassion — we take a patient’s hand and never let go, and that’s how we believe health care should be delivered.
Working at City of Hope Orange County is more than a job. It’s a calling. It’s about joining together to achieve what we all want — health and hope for the people of Orange County.
