Blood drives at City of Hope Newport Beach Fashion Island are your opportunity to save lives
Giving a little of yourself could make the biggest difference for another. When you donate blood, you donate life.
There is a nationwide shortage of lifesaving blood products, and its impact extends to City of Hope and our patients.
All donations are needed and essential, especially donations of blood type O.
City of Hope patients rely on more than 37,000 units of blood and platelets each year for their survival. And every one of those units comes from people like you, family, friends, and other caring people who want to make a difference.
Qualified individuals may donate whole blood once every 56 days and platelets every two weeks.
Giving blood now will help alleviate shortfalls that can result in postponements of crucial procedures for patients who need them without delay. And if you have a loved one who needs a transfusion, donations from friends and family are a great way to provide encouragement and support.
Make an appointment today to donate blood at City of Hope Newport Beach Fashion Island and invite your friends and family to do the same.
