Frequently Asked Questions About Tests and Pricing
Diagnostic testing (we don't offer antibody testing) for COVID-19 is done on a patient-by-patient basis based on the entire clinical picture and in consultation with our infectious disease specialists. For example, patients are tested for COVID-19 prior to hospital admittance, surgery, most procedures and enrollment in clinical trials.
If you are a patient and you develop symptoms of COVID-19 (such as fever, a new cough, fatigue and shortness of breath), please do not come directly to City of Hope. First, call your City of Hope oncologist or our COVID-19 Patient Hotline (844-961-4673) for instructions.
We are unable to provide testing for COVID-19 for anyone other than our patients.
COVID-19 diagnostic testing is also available at our clinical network locations throughout Los Angeles County.
The exceptions are Glendale Radiation Oncology, Mission Hills Radiation Oncology, Santa Clarita Radiation Oncology, Sherman Oaks Radiation Oncology and West Hills Radiation Oncology.
To get tested, contact your nearest City of Hope location to learn more, make an appointment for evaluation and determine if you are eligible for testing.
