Our team approach ensures that all your concerns are addressed, your voice is always heard and you never feel alone.

The Patient Experience

As an international patient, you'll receive personalized guidance and assistance from the Center for International Medicine (CIM), and it starts long before you arrive.

Becoming a Patient

While you're still at home, we'll review your medical records, help you understand all costs involved, set up your appointments, and assist with visa, travel and accommodations needs.

When you arrive in California we can provide airport reception services to escort you to our campus, help you get acclimated to Los Angeles and provide practical advice on banking, shopping, recreation and much more.

Throughout your stay, our team is always readily available to answer your questions, coordinate your appointments and connect you with City of Hope's vast array of patient and family support services.

Once you’ve completed treatment and you’re ready to go home, we'll help with discharge planning, make sure you have all the prescriptions and equipment you'll need and assist with the billing and payment process.

Even after you return home, the personalized care continues. We'll provide medical reports, connect with your doctors and coordinate any follow-up visits, no matter how far away you live.

World Class Medicine

For over 100 years, City of Hope has been the place for state-of-the-art cancer treatment and groundbreaking research, all on the same campus. We are one of a select few facilities in the United States designated a comprehensive cancer center by the National Cancer Institute. We are consistently ranked one of “America's Best Hospitals” by U.S. News & World Report.

City of Hope is a world leader in treating many of the most challenging cancers. We maintain the No. 1 hematology and prostate cancer programs in California.
