Pediatric Subspecialties

Given the complexity of our pediatric patients at City of Hope, we aspire to provide comprehensive subspecialty coverage. Our pediatric subspecialties are:

  • Pediatric critical care
  • Pediatric infectious disease
  • Pediatric cardiology
  • Pediatric gastroenterology
  • Pediatric nephrology
  • Pediatric neurology
  • Pediatric pulmonology

Pediatric Critical Care

On occasion, our pediatric patients need intensive care. At City of Hope, we have a group of experienced pediatric critical care physicians who provide coverage for patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They work closely with the primary oncology team to provide complete care for our patients. Our critical care physicians also provide sedation services for procedures in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
