Clinical Social Work

The stress and anxiety that can accompany diagnosis and treatment of cancer can be a weight on patients and their loved ones. Our clinical social workers are high-trained experts, able to help families with practical and emotional concerns.
Clinical Social Workers are especially helpful at critical transition points, sucha as a new diagnosis, change in treatment, worsening prognosis, end-of-life care, or other concrete needs (transportation, community resources, financial assistance) All social workers specialize in providing psychosocial services to all City of Hope patients and families.
