Division of Gynecological Oncology

City of Hope’s Division of Gynecological Oncology offers certain minimally invasive techniques as part of treatment for most gynecological cancers, reducing the scarring, blood loss and pain associated with traditional surgery. We also offer preventative surgery for women at high risk for developing cancer.
 
Our experts apply many of the latest technological advances to make minimally invasive surgery even better. We are one of the few institutions to operate four da Vinci S HD Surgical Systems – the most advanced robotic surgery systems available.
 
Our team possesses a thorough knowledge of robotics, due to both our large volume of patients and expertise across a wide variety of procedures. The robotic surgical approach results in smaller incisions, reducing trauma to the patient and assisting in quicker healing. This means our patients will feel better faster and return sooner to their normal lives.
