We’re always striving to get better at City of Hope. One key tool for improving the care we provide is the feedback we ask from our patients and their families. Their satisfaction is one of the most important measures of our success in helping them in their fight.
The two Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction1 charts below demonstrate the real regard patients have for their experience at City of Hope. Inpatient satisfaction is much higher than the national average. Outpatient satisfaction also exceeds the average satisfaction level patients have with the other cancer centers surveyed.2
Honored for putting the patient first
- The Guardian of Excellence Award honors hospitals that have reached the 95th percentile for patient satisfaction
- The Pinnacle of Excellence Award for Patient Experience is presented to hospitals who have consistently maintained high levels of excellence over three years, and City of Hope is one of just 29 institutions nationwide to achieve this accolade.
These are only the latest honors City of Hope has received for providing personalized, attentive care for each patient’s body, mind and spirit.
