Dr. Bertram Yuh specializes in robotic surgery to treat prostate, bladder and other urologic cancers. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University as well as master degrees in Information Systems Management and Health Care Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. He completed a urology residency at State University of New York in Buffalo, N.Y. He joined the City of Hope division of Urologic Oncology in 2010.
He has been invited to speak nationally and internationally, and also joined in missions work in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.
His clinical research focuses on improving outcomes for robotic surgery, particularly achieving better quality of life, cancer control, cost control and process flow. He is passionate about the benefits of robotic surgery compared to other treatments for prostate, bladder, and kidney cancer. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles, reviews, and chapters.
