“What do I like about my job best? Patient contact and getting results. I get another chance to make a difference in somebody's life and that's what it's all about.”
With a career spanning nearly a half-century, Rendel Houston, M.D. could have easily kicked back and enjoyed a well-earned retirement.
Not his style.
Dr. Houston is a fixture at City of Hope's Antelope Valley facility, where he specializes in urology and urologic cancers. He's no stranger to the neighborhood. He's had a thriving private practice in Lancaster for decades. He's taught at Antelope Valley Hospital. Many of our men in uniform know Dr. Houston from his consulting work at Edwards Air Force Base and China Lake Naval Weapons Center in Ridgecrest.
Dr. Houston joined City of Hope in 2013.
