Matthew Ruchin is the Associate Director of Administration for City of Hope’s Comprehensive Cancer Center. He oversees strategic planning and implementation, coordination of research programs and cores, management of all leadership committees, and documents all of the activities and progress of the Center as required by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
Matthew joined City of Hope in 2014 from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL where he served as Associate Director of Administration for the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center, overseeing clinical and basic research operations and providing administrative leadership for the Center.
Matthew holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington State University.
He serves as a member of the Cancer Center Executive Committee, Cancer Center Leadership Council, the Core Facilities Oversight Committee and the Clinical Trials Minority Recruitment Committee.
