Western Region Islet Study Group Meeting Abtracts

Abstract Closing Date: October 1, 2022 (11:59 pm PST)

Requirements for Submission
Refer to WRISG Abstract Guidelines.  Abstracts should be submitted by 11:59 pm on the closing date for eligibility.

Selection Process
Abstracts are reviewed by the Organizing Committee.  Notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent to the author within 2-weeks of the closing date.  Accepted abstracts will be published in the WRISG website and/or meeting app.

Abstracts will be selected on a first come first serve basis, due to the set number of presentations that can be accommodated in the time frame of this conference.

Oral Session
Oral sessions provide an opportunity for junior faculty and trainees to present their research in a formal setting. Abstracts will be grouped in categories focusing on a similar theme to create a 2-hour session.  Presenters must register to attend the in-person meeting.  There will be no virtual presentation options.  Each presentation will be limited to 10 minutes followed by 5 minutes of Q&A.  

At the conclusion of the meeting, awards will be presented to the top 3 presentations. Presenters must be available to receive their award in person.
