Saniya Ahmad, M.D., is an assistant clinical professor and diagnostic radiologist in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. Inspired to pursue a career in medicine after her father and a college friend succumbed to cancer, Dr. Ahmad is committed to bringing both her expertise in breast and women’s imaging and her compassion to her work with every patient.
In addition to performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, Dr. Ahmad is dedicated to helping patients understand their test results and move from the diagnosis stage to active treatment as smoothly and quickly as possible.
Dr. Ahmad earned her medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. She then completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, followed by a breast and women’s imaging fellowship at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago. She is board certified in diagnostic radiology.
