Shawn Blick, M.D., is a board-certified urologist and penile implant surgeon at City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix, where he specializes in providing personalized care for patients experiencing issues including erectile dysfunction and male incontinence.
Dr. Blick has extensive surgical experience and is an expert in offering advanced treatment options such as penile implant surgery – a procedure that can help patients with certain cancer types remain sexually active when other, nonsurgical treatments have not been effective. His approach to care is to educate patients and work with them to determine which treatment options meet their goals and health needs.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in nutritional biochemistry at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Dr. Blick attended medical school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He remained at Mount Sinai Beth Israel for his residencies in general surgery and urology. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Urological Association, the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, the American Society for Men’s Health and the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons.
