Vice-President of Quality and Analytics Tyler Seto, M.D., is dedicated to ensuring that patients at City of Hope® receive the highest quality care and the best health outcomes possible. Board-certified in both internal medicine and medical informatics, Dr. Seto joined City of Hope in 2019 from the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, where he oversaw quality of care for patients treated across the county.
A graduate of the Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Seto completed an internship and residency at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in the Sylmar neighborhood of Los Angeles. In addition to his decades of experience as a health care provider, he is a graduate of the California Health Care Foundation Health Care Leadership Program and has served as an adjunct professor of management and organization at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
Dr. Seto led City of Hope’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including the creation of testing policies and systems for both patients and staff members, providing educational updates to the community at large and updating policies and guidelines as physicians learned more about the effects of COVID-19.
