A National Leader in CAR T Cell Therapy
City of Hope is a national leader in cellular therapies and has treated more than 1,600 patients with chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy. This highly specialized form of immunotherapy uses the patient’s own immune cells to fight cancer. Doctors collect the T cells, reengineer them in a lab so they can better recognize blood cancer cells and then return them to the patient’s body to target and attack the disease.
As home to Georgia’s only bone marrow transplant program, we’re bringing breakthrough therapies close to patients who need it most.

Our highly trained hematologists work side by side with radiation oncologists, Magnet®-certified nurses, pathologists and pharmacists to treat leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and rare blood cancers with advanced treatment options and clinical trials not readily available at other institutions.
