Our 190,000-square-foot cancer center is located on 11 acres of the master-planned FivePoint Gateway community. 

Patients receive fully integrated, multidisciplinary cancer care - from prevention through survivorship - in one convenient location, where every physician and staff member is solely focused on treating and curing cancer. City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center features the latest and most comprehensive suite of market-leading technology for screening, diagnosing, and treating cancer, delivered by highly specialized experts who raise the bar for scientific expertise and exceptional outcomes and is a provider-based facility of City of Hope National Medical Center, a general acute care hospital. Our physician-scientists will conduct Phase 1-3 clinical trials at our dedicated clinical research unit and infusion center to provide patients with pioneering treatments long before they become the standard of care. 

City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center is seamlessly connected to Orange County’s only cancer specialty hospital exclusively focused on treating and curing cancer.

  • Acclaimed Cancer Expertise: Access to City of Hope’s 575 physicians and 1,000 researchers and scientists who only focus on cancer.
  • Breakthrough Treatments: Targeted immunotherapies, including CAR T cell therapy, as well as bone marrow transplants, robotic minimally invasive surgeries and personalized treatments, such as stereotactic body radiation therapy. These innovations have demonstrated improved outcomes and a better quality of life for patients in treatment.
  • Integrative Medicine: A trailblazing integrative medicine program combining the best of Western medicine and evidence-based complementary therapies, such as acupuncture, massage and meditation.
  • Cancer Prevention: Programs that identify people and families with elevated cancer risk utilizing genetic risk assessments, biomarker panels and environmental surveys to help manage that risk.
  • Early Detection: Novel blood testing and imaging techniques that find cancer early, when it is still easily curable. Patients will be among the first in the nation to access City of Hope’s new Center for Cancer Prevention and Early Detection.
  • Precision Medicine: Best-in-class genomic testing to profile a patient’s tumor and determine the treatment that will be most effective for their cancer.
  • Screening and Diagnostic Services: A suite of state-of-the-art imaging equipment for patients’ convenient access to mammography, colonoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy and other lifesaving services.
  • A Clinical Research Unit: The epicenter for clinical investigational research that speeds the development of new drugs and interventions to the bedside, allowing patients to receive the latest treatments in cancer care
  • Surgical Oncology: An outpatient surgery department that offers advanced perioperative care, an endoscopy suite and operating rooms with robotic-assisted surgical capabilities

Family and friends are always welcome and encouraged to visit patients during their stay at City of Hope.

“Primary visitors” - typically the patient’s closest family or friends – will receive wristbands for visitation during operational hours: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Please note that for the patient's health, safety and well-being, staff may request visitors to leave the patient room and wait in the visitor lounges located near the elevators on each floor of the hospital. Is My Insurance Accepted?

View a list of insurance companies that City of Hope currently contracts with for its locations and physicians. Even if your plan is included, check with your insurance company to make sure you are covered. Your insurance company/medical group will tell you if you need any authorizations.
