Supportive Care Medicine Classes and Group Programs
City of Hope Orange County offers patients and caregivers a variety of classes, including courses in nutrition, how to look and feel your best during cancer treatment, and several integrative oncology therapies, such as mind-body medicine, acupuncture and more. In addition, patients and caregivers may also benefit from one of our support groups and the chance to connect with other patients and families, such as our diabetes empowerment group or our caregivers connect support group.
Every Monday | 11 a.m. to noon

First Wednesday of every month | noon to 1 p.m.
This group is for caregivers of cancer patients. Meet other caregivers, reduce stress and support each other.
Every Thursday | 10 to 11 a.m.

First Monday of every month | 1 to 1:45 p.m.
Led by a licensed cosmetology specialist, this class is a great resource to help you feel vibrant throughout your treatment.
Every Wednesday | 10:30 to 11:30am
This seated yoga class is ideal for those with balance and mobility issues, but offers benefits for all patients.
Every Wednesday | 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
This class includes qigong set routines to cultivate coordination, mental and emotional stress relief, muscular relaxation and more.
Every Friday | 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
A gentle yoga class offers a variety of benefits, including improved range of motion, flexibility, strength and more.
