Bamidele A. Adesunloye, M.D., joined City of Hope® Atlanta in 2019 as a medical oncologist. In this role, Dr. Adesunloye works with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and treat a variety of types and stages of genitourinary cancers, with a focus on prostate, bladder and kidney.
Dr. Adesunloye earned his medical degree from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria. He then completed an internal medicine residency at Morehouse School of Medicine, where he also received a Master of Science degree in clinical research. He went on to complete a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health.
Board-certified in medical oncology and hematology, Dr. Adesunloye has practiced in a variety of health care settings since 2012. He is a member of several professional committees and organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
