A Message from President and CEO Robert Stone to the City of Hope Community

Dear City of Hope Community:

Many in our City of Hope family have directly felt the impact of recent events, nationally and throughout Los Angeles.

City of Hope was founded on addressing health disparities and serving those marginalized by society. We have always come together to provide hope to others, and continue now, as ever, to live our values each day by honoring the dignity of every human being. We treasure all members of our community, standing resolutely for the core values of equality and inclusion, and in opposition to discrimination and bias in any form or place it exists.

I am so very proud of how we have supported each other and our patients and families as we manage the significant impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the coming weeks, as we continue to focus on ensuring the health and safety of our patients and staff, we will increase our efforts to combat the impacts of health disparities on minority and underserved communities, seeking ways to serve as advocates for the most vulnerable patients and families.

Our commitment to support each other must continue stronger than ever during these challenging times. As always, we stand together as one united community.

Sincerely,

Robert Stone
