Zain Jabri, M.D., brings an international perspective to his nocturnist duties at City of Hope. Fluent in English and Arabic, he has treated patients in underserved areas of Iraq during wartime and vaccinated refugee children in Jordan. Here in the U.S., he’s a church volunteer, helping new arrivals get acclimated, teaching English to children and serving as an interpreter.
Dr. Jabri received his medical degree from Al Nahrain University College of Medicine. Following his internship and a year of professional experience in Iraq, he embarked on a series of clinical observership positions in Florida, California, Pennsylvania and Nevada. He continued his training with a residency at New York’s Jamaica Hospital before taking a hospitalist position at St. Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, California.
Dr. Jabri has a special interest in medical technology research. He’s excited to join the City of Hope family. “Most importantly,” he added, “I am looking for a program in which I can be challenged.”
