City of Hope®, a globally recognized leader in cancer research and treatment, continues its commitment to expanding access to leading-edge care in Arizona with a new radiation oncology suite at City of Hope Cancer Care Gilbert. This 8,477-square-foot expansion, opened June 16, introducing radiation therapy as a new service line for area patients, all within a convenient, patient-centered setting.
This addition enhances the technological capabilities and clinical expertise available to the Gilbert community, ensuring more patients have access to world-class comprehensive care and supportive services closer to home.
Enhanced Radiation Services in a Community-Based Setting
The new radiation suite at City of Hope Gilbert introduces leading-edge capabilities and comfort to the Gilbert community. It is one of the first centers in Arizona to feature newly integrated PET/CT and mammography technologies that support precise diagnostic imaging and planning.
The Gilbert location offers external beam radiation therapy and high dose-rate brachytherapy to effectively target cancerous tumors. It also offers
radiation treatment technologies that allow for tattoo less therapy, enhancing patient comfort while minimizing permanent skin markings.

The suite features nine new rooms designed for patient comfort and clinical efficiency, and it is fully focused on providing seamless radiation treatment planning and delivery.
