Early detection can save lives. At City of Hope Gilbert, our team is dedicated to helping patients — including those at higher risk — access appropriate screenings for breast, cervical, colorectal, skin, and lung cancers. We use advanced imaging technologies such as mammography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET) to support accurate and timely diagnosis. We also offer comprehensive risk assessments that evaluate family history and genetics, providing personalized recommendations to help lower cancer risk.
Through our telehealth services, patients can access genetic counseling with experienced professionals who simplify complex concepts and provide clear, compassionate guidance. During scheduled video sessions, our counselors explain genetic risk factors, address individual concerns, and help determine whether genetic testing may be appropriate — all from the comfort of home.
Our Gilbert imaging experts accelerate speed to an accurate diagnosis, a personalized treatment plan and ongoing surveillance by using a variety of leading-edge tools and technologies, including integrated positron emission tomography (PET), computed tomography (CT), 3D mammography and ultrasound.
As part of our medical oncology services, City of Hope Gilbert is committed to making on-site chemotherapy as comfortable and convenient as possible. Patients receive treatment in private infusion spaces equipped with relaxing chairs for both patients and caregivers, warm blankets, and a variety of snack options. Our dedicated infusion nurses and highly trained staff are available to answer questions and provide personalized support throughout each patient’s chemotherapy experience.
