Dear Friends,
The past year was one of tremendous progress in research, treatment and care at City of Hope, all made possible with your support. We are delighted to share some of the most exciting impacts you helped us achieve in 2023. We are living in a time of significant innovation in cancer and diabetes, and, thanks to your partnership, City of Hope continues to make advances that are lengthening lives and providing better outcomes for patients and families.
At City of Hope, our mission is to turn hope into reality by moving scientific breakthroughs out of the lab to patients quickly. You are part of a powerful community of donors and volunteers who help drive this work forward. Our donor community helps us deliver on our mission with ingenuity, speed and compassion.
We had the privilege of seeing the compassion and excitement of our community in action in 2023 as we traveled to events and to City of Hope’s multiple campuses around the country. We were uplifted by the excitement and compassion we saw in all of you—people determined to raise a hand to help. Your commitment is paying off: the money raised together with our incredible team of supporters will accelerate cures, broaden access to advanced care and generate more of the exciting impact you will read about in this newsletter.
Our work continues as a new year gets underway. More progress is needed with cancer and diabetes; there is still so much to do. But we can be hopeful because of the innovation you are helping us achieve. Thank you for being on our team and working alongside us to make the impossible possible. We are grateful for all you have done for City of Hope and the people we are privileged to serve. Your commitment to helping us transform the future of healthcare inspires us.
With gratitude,
