What Sets Our Scottsdale Location Apart?
City of Hope Scottsdale surrounds patients with specialization and innovation — every step of the way — from cancer screening and leading-edge diagnostics to precision treatments and state-of-the-art technologies.
Not only do patients benefit from our renowned Scottsdale physicians, but they also gain access to a national network of more than 2,000 physicians and researchers across City of Hope. That means more knowledge sharing, collaboration on complex cases and, above all else, quality patient care.
Our surgical oncology experts have decades of expertise in treating a wide range of cancer types using leading-edge tools and technologies. Our Scottsdale location offers consultations and recommendations for breast surgery, gynecologic oncology, urology and other surgical specialties.
While advanced surgical procedures are performed at our hospital in Goodyear, a number of outpatient procedures, including biopsies and excisions, may be performed onsite.
Through our telehealth services, patients can access genetic counseling with trained counselors who can answer questions and help simplify complex concepts into understandable terms. During scheduled video sessions, our goal is to provide clear information about genetic risk factors, address concerns and determine whether genetic testing may be an option.
Our Scottsdale imaging experts accelerate speed to an accurate diagnosis, personalized treatment plan and ongoing surveillance by using a variety of leading-edge tools and technologies — including ultrasound, CT scan, positron emission tomography (PET) scan and 3D mammography — to assess the tumor’s location and size.
As part of our medical oncology offerings, City of Hope Scottsdale makes on-site chemotherapy as comfortable and convenient as possible with personal infusion spaces, relaxing chairs for patients and caregivers, warm blankets and snack options — and dedicated infusion nurses and other specialists who can answer any questions about your specific chemotherapy treatment.
Quality of life matters. That’s why patients at our Scottsdale location benefit from access to supportive care services such as pain management, behavioral health, nutritional support and oncology rehabilitation. Partnering with providers who focus on cancer- and treatment-related side effects and symptom management, patients are better able to stay on their treatment plans, without delay or disruption.
