As a Medical Oncologist and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research at City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix, Divneet Mandair, M.D., M.S., brings both his clinical and research expertise to his work with patients diagnosed with prostate cancer, bladder cancer and other genitourinary diseases. His goal for his patients is to create personalized and effective treatment plans that incorporate the latest research advances.
Dr. Mandair earned his medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona, then completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of California, San Francisco, where he also served as a faculty member. Dr. Mandair also holds a master’s degree in management science and engineering from Stanford University in California.
Dr. Mandair pairs his compassionate approach to care with a deep knowledge of innovative treatment options, such as radiology therapy and PARP inhibitors for prostate cancer. His research — which he conducts at both City of Hope and at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), also part of City of Hope and located in Phoenix — focuses on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to improve detection and treatment, and he has published multiple peer-reviewed papers in this field.
