As an assistant clinical professor of anesthesiology, Tracie Tran, M.D., provides patients at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte with exceptional clinical care, ensuring their cancer treatment journeys are as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Inspired to make a difference in the lives of others, Dr. Tran earned her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, then completed an internship in internal medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Pennsylvania, and a residency in anesthesiology at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. As an anesthesiologist, she incorporates her expertise in chemistry, physics and physiology into her clinical practice, while improving her patients’ health and quality of life. Her goal is to help patients navigate the intricacies and concerns related to cancer treatment with compassion and respect.
Dr. Tran has taken part in multiple research projects, volunteered in low-income and under-resourced communities both in and outside the United States and is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Association of Anesthesiologists.
