Community Practice Surgical Oncology Fellowship

The City of Hope® Community Practice Surgical Oncology Fellowship Program is a one-year program dedicated to training future general surgeons with the skill sets to be leaders in surgical oncology with a focus on community cancer care. The Community Practice Surgical Oncology Training Program offers an exceptional opportunity for participants to become expertly trained in the multimodality treatment of the cancer patient with an emphasis on highly subspecialized procedures, technological innovations in the operating room and the use of minimally invasive techniques for cancer operations. To increase the exposure and experience in the different models of cancer care delivery, the training will be completed at the City of Hope's main campus in Duarte, the clinical network site in South Pasadena and Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles.

The fellowship is an integral part of City of Hope's Department of Surgery and Division of Surgical Oncology.
