The Intensive Course 2027 in Genomic Cancer Risk Assessment application is OPEN!

  • The IC 2027 application will be open from April 1, 2026, to August 1, 2026.
  • The IC 2027 session begins in October 2026 and concludes in February 2027.

  • Short professional biography (up to 200 words)
  • CV or Resume (DOC/DOCX or PDF)
The application is resumable. Your responses will be saved if you must navigate away, but you must RETAIN the RETURN/VALIDATION CODE in order to return to your responses. We recommend that you write the return code down and save it. The system also allows you to bookmark the page and email the survey link. 
 
When coming back to the application, look at top right corner for the return code link. You will then be directed to the last saved question within your application.
 
Only completed application packets will be considered for review by the Intensive Course Application Committee.
 

Prerequisites

  • Preferred applicants should have a foundational understanding of oncology and/or genetics as the course is a comprehensive learning experience designed to expand upon these concepts.
  • Participants should be active clinicians either currently providing or planning to initiate Genomic Cancer Risk Assessment services in their practice.
  • Institutional support for course activities and time commitments as indicated in the Letter of Support submitted with the application.

Acceptance

Emails notifying applicants about acceptance decisions will be sent as early as the end of August and as late as the end of September. The nonrefundable course fees are due on or before the end of October.

Limited Scholarships Available

To help address disparities in access to quality Genetic Cancer Risk Assessment (GCRA) services, City of Hope® Division of Clinical Cancer Genomics offers a limited number of full and partial scholarships to Intensive Course applicants providing (or planning to provide) clinical GCRA services to socio-economically and/or geographically underserved populations in the United States.

Scholarship applications are integrated into the Intensive Course application.
