Requirements and Selection Process
Requirements
- Individuals interested in applying to City of Hope's School of Radiation Therapy must submit an application by June 1 of each new program year.
- Applicants must meet minimum admission requirements, which include graduation from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology accredited program in radiography and certification in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the State of California Department of Public Health -Radiologic Health Branch.
- In addition, applicants must possess a minimum of an associate degree (the degree does not need to be in the radiologic sciences).

Selection Process
Interviews typically begin at the end of June or in early July and are conducted by a panel of City of Hope program officials.
All students selected must meet and clear the onboarding and verification process prior to admission into the program. The onboarding and verification process includes a background check, drug screening, health clearance and institutional orientation, which are at no cost to the student.
