Beomjune B. Kim, D.M.D., M.D., F.A.C.S., is a head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgeon at City of Hope® Cancer Center Atlanta. Dr. Kim has been with City of Hope since 2019, relocating his practice to Atlanta in 2021. As a head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Kim has extensive expertise in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of cancer and other diseases that affect the head and neck. He is part of a multidisciplinary team addressing the complex surgical needs of head and
neck cancer patients, and those needing head and neck reconstruction.
Dr. Kim earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry. While at the University of Maryland, Dr. Kim received a Doctor of Medicine degree then completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He also completed a fellowship in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Kim is an American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Diplomate and earned a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery by demonstrating significant skills in his area of specialty.
