What Sets Our Paces Ferry Location Apart?
At City of Hope Paces Ferry, we combine the power of proximity with the expertise of a national system. That means you not only benefit from our renowned physicians onsite, but you also gain access to a coast-to-coast network of more than 2,000 physicians and researchers across City of Hope, providing specialization, innovation and compassion, throughout your cancer journey.
When it comes to personalized treatment planning and peace of mind, patients deserve rapid access to the team and treatment they feel is right for them. That’s why we offer consultations with medical oncologists who specialize in breast cancer, lung and GI cancers at our Paces Ferry location.
At our convenient outpatient setting, patients can meet with highly trained radiation oncologists to learn more about radiation options, including image-guided therapies and technologies that target tumor location, deliver radiation precisely and reduce damage to nearby organs and healthy tissue.
City of Hope Paces Ferry provides patients with access to fellowship-trained physicians who bring decades of experience in breast and GI surgical oncology and thoracic surgery to each patient consultation. That level of expertise means more options, including sophisticated surgical techniques for advanced or complex cancer. We perform outpatient procedures, such as biopsies, onsite and advanced surgeries at our Newnan hospital.
Our expertise at Paces Ferry includes consultations for a wide range of endocrine disorders, including thyroid and parathyroid tumors, thyroid nodules, hypercalcemia and hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism — where patients can expect partnership with a board-certified endocrinologist from diagnosis to management.
We offer genetic testing and counseling for people with certain cancers or certain patterns of cancer in their family — a process that helps people understand their inherited cancer risk and make informed decisions. For those with cancer, genetic test results may also help your care team develop a more targeted treatment plan.
