I chose to join City of Hope because I firmly believe in its mission to provide cutting edge cancer care with compassion and soul.

For Mark Hanna, M.D., it's all about trust. He chose a career in surgery “because of the intimate trust relationship that you achieve with your patients. It is this trust that gives you the privilege to use your own hands to help them heal and beat their illness.”

Specializing in minimally invasive and robotic surgery to treat colorectal cancer, Dr. Hanna is passionate about offering his patients the latest surgical options which enable faster recovery, decreased postoperative pain and shorter hospital stay.

Dr. Hanna received his medical degree from American University of Beirut Medical School and completed his internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center and his residency training at UC Irvine Medical School.
